Also finally made it to the 100th episode, 48 more to go, damn it feels like an instant since when Gon caught the King of Swamp and got on board the ship for the Hunter exams.

No. I read the first 20 volumes of Dragon Ball and watched a few episodes of Detective Conan, but that's it. I just can't bring myself to watch hundreds of episodes of a single series... The only exception is Jojo's, but each part feels like a different thing so I don't really mind

One Piece and Detective Conan are highly recommended. Do watch it completely whenever you feel like it.

So.... I randomly came back here, and I have finished One Piece. It was absolutely amazing, I don't regret anything. Now HxH feels quite short, compared to it ! Both are awesome series, though.

Pretty much anyone who catches up with One Piece is a die hard fan, there's no way that someone who doesn't like it would go through that many episodes. There probably are some but it's kinda stupid to spend that much time on something you don't even like...

Oh no, don't get it wrong, I love One Piece; however Dressrossa and Enies Lobby made me question my loyalty. They were so slowwwwwwwwww.

I agree, they're some of the best arcs, but the anime's pacing did them dirty, especially Dressrosa, even though I love that arc ( fun fact, Luffy and Law pretty much spent a year of the show's run fighting Mingo )
I think it was worse with Whole Cake Island though. It was so, sooo slow...

Yeah wholecake island arc is awful in the anime pacing like dressora too

Good for you, animes with more than 100 episodes are really amazing to watch actually you can connect with the characters more deeply, and from your other replies I see you've watched and loved One Piece too, I'd recommend you to watch Black Clover, Yu Yu Hakusho (same author as HxH), Fairy Tail, Bleach and Gintama too if you haven't tried them already.
